Frequently asked questions

Can I use my own logo?

Yes — logo, images, colours and custom text, arranged your way.

Do I need a barcode on my labels?

Only if you sell through retail or point-of-sale. For Etsy or your own online shop it is optional — add an EAN-13 or UPC whenever you need one.

Can I print many labels at once?

Yes — import your products from Excel and print a batch. On the Starter plan.

How do I print on A4 label sheets?

In the editor, set the media to A4 and then copy the numbers from your label sheet's datasheet: the top and left margin, how many columns and how many rows, and the horizontal and vertical spacing between labels. The label size is calculated from those and never typed by hand — that is what stops the grid drifting a fraction of a millimetre on every row. The grid and the cut lines are on-screen guides and are not printed, so nothing appears between the labels of a die-cut sheet. Print at 100%, with "fit to page" switched off, or every measurement moves.

Which columns does the Excel file need, and how do they map to the label?

Only two are really needed: a name and a code. Download the template from the products panel and it arrives with the seventeen columns the editor understands — Reference, Name, EAN, EAN8, UPCA, GTIN, ITF14, Storepack, UnitWeightKg, BoxWeightKg, DefaultLot, DefaultExpiry, Customer, Category, CountryOfOrigin, Status, Notes — with the headers already in your language, and it is by those same headers that it recognises the file when you import it. Keep the code columns formatted as text or Excel will drop the leading zeros. Any extra column you add is kept and becomes a field you can place on the label, exactly like the built-in ones.

What can I print on?

A thermal label roll or standard label sheets — any printer, no special hardware. Zebra, Brother, Dymo, Godex, TSC — they all work the same way: the browser sends the page to whichever printer you choose, so there is nothing to install.

Is it free?

Generating and verifying barcodes is free. Designing and printing branded labels — logo, templates, any quantity — is on the Starter plan.
